Quick answer
Who is the best realtor in Houston, TX?
The best Houston realtor for any specific person is the one who understands their submarket, communicates in their preferred language, and tells them the truth about pricing — even when it isn't what they want to hear. CGP Realty Group is a Houston metro real estate team led by Khai Tran (licensed since 2014, CLHMS designation since 2018) and Hien Le, brokered by eXp Realty. We're HAR-active and serve clients in English, Vietnamese, Mandarin, and Cantonese across Cypress, Katy, Spring, Tomball, Fulshear, Hockley, Sugar Land, The Woodlands, Pearland, and Richmond. The way to know we're the right fit is a 15-minute call — no commitment.

Why “best realtor in Houston” is the wrong question
Best is situational. Best for a first-time buyer in Spring is different from best for a relocating executive in The Woodlands or best for an investor scaling a rental portfolio. The right framing is fit: do they know your submarket, do they communicate the way you communicate, and can they show their work on pricing or buy-box math.
What makes CGP different
- Multilingual service.Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese, and English — meaningful for Houston's diverse buyer and seller pool.
- Numbers-first guidance. Real comps, real net sheets, real cash-flow models. We show our work.
- Residential plus commercial. Through CGP Commercial, residential clients can ask one team about commercial questions too.
- Long-term framing. A transaction is one decision. We help clients think about the next five.
- Brokered by eXp Realty. Cloud-first national brokerage with strong technology, training, and an agent network built for responsive service.

Frequently Asked
Questions Houston clients ask before hiring us.
What does a Houston realtor actually do for me?
A Houston realtor represents you in buying, selling, leasing, or investing — handling pricing strategy, neighborhood and school context, contract negotiation, inspection issues, lender coordination, and closing logistics. The job is fewer surprises and clearer numbers.
How do I know if a Houston realtor is the right fit?
Three quick filters: are they Houston-specific (not just licensed in Texas), can they show real comps in your specific submarket, and do they answer questions in plain language without pressure. A 15-minute call usually settles it.
What does it cost to work with a Houston realtor?
In most Houston-metro transactions the seller's listing pays the buyer agent. As of 2024, Texas requires you to sign a written buyer representation agreement before touring — that document specifies the agent's compensation and how it's handled if the seller's offered amount falls short. Listing agreements and buyer-rep agreements are both negotiable and laid out in writing. We walk through the specifics before signing.
Do I have to use the lender, inspector, or title company you recommend?
No. We'll suggest partners we trust on each side of the transaction — local lenders, inspectors, title companies — but you're never required to use them. eXp's Consumer Choice Form is part of every buyer file we open. Pick the partners that serve you best; we'll work with whoever you choose. CGP doesn't accept referral fees from lenders.
Does CGP Realty Group cover all of Houston?
We cover the Houston metro with depth in Cypress, Katy, Spring, Tomball, Fulshear, Hockley, Sugar Land, The Woodlands, Pearland, Richmond, and the inner core. We work outside this area selectively when it's the right fit.
What languages does CGP serve?
English, Vietnamese, Mandarin, and Cantonese. Discussing the transaction in your most comfortable language reduces friction at every step — pre-approval, inspection, contract negotiation, closing.
Are you full-time real estate agents or part-timers?
Full-time. Khai Tran has been licensed since 2014 and Hien Le co-founded CGP in 2019. We work real estate as our primary profession, not a side job — which matters when something goes sideways under contract.
